Our Story
The Carolina Seafood and Steak restaurant resides within a historic 14,000 square-foot building constructed in 1969. Brimming with character, this establishment boasts remnants from the former Ocean Forest Hotel, Myrtle Beach's inaugural hotel, which met its end in 1974. Among these treasures are the majestic wooden arches, crafted in 1927, now serving as partitions between the restaurant's rooms. Additionally, the fixtures of our current bar were once integral components of the historic hotel. Adding to the ambiance, the exquisite stained glass adorning the bar's ceiling and background originated from a church in Spain, imbuing our space with a rich tapestry of history and charm.
